We are a NO-STRESS book club! There are no fees and no obligations. How many times have you read a book and just wanted someone else to understand your thoughts about it? That’s what we are: friendly bookworms enjoying the company of other people who’ve read the same book we have. Check us out on Facebook here.
There is nothing formal in Babbling Bookworms Virtual Book Club. We do have a few simple rules:
- Spoilers will be allowed after a certain date set by admins to allow all of our members ample time to complete their read-through. Some of us start before we’re supposed to – which is totally fine – but we ask that we don’t spoil the book for anyone.
- We encourage open conversation – but not bullying (in any form). Admins reserve the right to remove a post, comment, etc. for review if we feel that it crosses into that lane.
- Any member of the group is welcome to suggest a title for BOTM (send your contender to the admins, and we’ll add it to our stash).
Life can be busy. We read on our own time; some of us use e-readers, some prefer a hard copy, and some of us listen to audiobooks. All are great options!
Then, at the end of the month, we start a thread on the group page for us to discuss (complete with actual book club questions). All thoughts and questions are welcome, and you can comment/reply on your own time so there’s no stress about missing the meeting.
